Checked them out after hearing good things about them. Love a great artichoke pie and this one definitely hit the high marks. Great pizza at a very reasonable price, in a comfortable inviting atmosphere. You will have a hard time finding a better wood fired oven pie. The staff and owner checked with us to make sure that we were completely satisfied. This is definitely going to be one of our go to Italian restaurants. Give em a try. You won’t be disappointed..

This is my go to place. Polk County is so lucky to have such a Gem. Authentic classic style food. "They know what they're doing heerrrrreeeee!!!" You want florida pizza, Go to Floridino, the rest of the Gavones will be here at CALOGEROS getting the real deal. This is the spot, get an amazing meal, have a canoli and an espresso or a Paroni and enjoy the beautiful space. Its worth it. God Bless all

It is a quaint little place with delicious wood fire pizza. We got the L'Inferno and the Macellaio (meat lovers) Pizzas. The sauce is great. The crust is crispy. And the atmosphere is just right for a little night out or lunch for a quick bite to eat. Lots of items to choose from. We will be back!

If you’re looking for real authentic and passionate it’s right here, worth stopping you’ll fall in love!!! The pizza was phenomenal the vino smooth full bodied made with love and the desserts were over the top good!!! Our first experience with Calogero's Pizzeria was fantastic! We came in on a rainy Saturday evening. We were greeted immediately and informed about the menu and where to order. We took a moment to take in the ambiance of this new find. You can choose indoor and an outdoor patio dining. Also, two tables just outside the doorway, should you decideon sidewalk dining. We noticed they have a coffee bar with bar stools. We started with the Antipasto Salad, which was cool, crisp, and very fresh. Our pizza for the evening was the Macellaio (meat pizza). We absolutely loved everything about it! From the crunch of the crust, to the savory flavors! You can't have pizza without wings! The wood fired chicken wings were truly amazing! To top off our experience we had the Rainbow Cookies! These little guys are not to be missed! Trust me on this one! The service was excellent, as we were checked on regularly. We even had someone from the kitchen come visit our table, as he had done with others earlier. I look forward to trying the pasta dishes on our next visit!!
